This test has revolutionised my life and after feeling like I was grinding to a halt I am now virtually symptom free. The YorkTest staff were fantastic in guiding on the appropriate test. I’d recommend this to anyone who thinks they may have food intolerances and are prepared to make diet changes to improve their symptoms.

After several years of nausea and sickness after eating and being unable to find a reason for it I took a York Laboratories blood test and found that I had an intolerance to animal milk. I have been on a dairy free diet for 6 weeks now and my symptoms have disappeared. I am so grateful for the help and advice that I was given and for the structured diet plan included with the package I was sent. This will now be my diet for life.

How could the IBS Diet Programme help me?

If you suffer with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) you know how distressing and unpredictable it can be. From cramps and bloating to constipation and diarrhoea, the impact on your life can be very distressing.

As Europe’s leading provider of food intolerance testing for over 35 years, we have helped thousands of people, just like you, to discover, remove and then replace the trigger foods in their diet which could be contributing to their problems.

Please note: if you are concerned about the symptoms you are experiencing you should always visit your healthcare provider to rule out any serious medical condition.

How does the IBS Diet Programme work?

From a small finger-prick sample of your blood, taken in the comfort of your own home, our specialist laboratory can analyse your food-specific IgG antibody reactions to 158 food and drink ingredients to pinpoint your specific trigger foods.

What do I get with the IBS Diet Programme?

Once you have taken your small sample of blood at home, and sent it to our laboratory for expert analysis, you will receive your clear, colour coded results direct to you by post.
Alongside your results, you will be given a 12-week food diary, food intolerance guidebook and personalised list of low FODMAP foods to help guide you through your new diet.
Also, included in the programme is a 30 minute telephone consultation with one of our registered Nutritional Therapists. Simply call our friendly Customer Care Team to book your appointment once you receive your results.

Within a few weeks, I started to feel an enormous difference. I could eat a meal without feeling bloated afterwards. I lost a bit of weight, I had more energy, and my mental well-being was much improved.

The Small Print

Raised levels of food-specific IgG antibodies within your blood indicate that an IgG antibody reaction to a particular food or foods has occurred. If you have already taken the decision to eliminate a particular food or foods from your diet they may not show up a reaction on your results. If you know of foods that cause you to feel unwell, do not start eating them; we do not encourage you to eat a food or foods which you already know are a problem to you.

IBS Diet Programme does not provide information about coeliac disease, enzyme deficiencies such as lactose and alcohol intolerance, IgE-mediated allergies, histamine sensitivity or other chemical sensitivities such as reactions to sulphites, tannins or tyramine. IBS Diet Programme is only recommended for people who have food and drink intolerance symptoms.

* YorkTest define Food Intolerance as a food-specific IgG reaction.
